I met a stranger today,

He's a quite handsome fella,

With a nervous disposition,

I wish he could talk more,

Without mincing his words,

Tell me every thought he has,

Strong characteristics of a gentleman,

Without the snobbishness,

Maybe I saw him yesterday,

When i looked in the mirror,

A person staring back at me,

I didn't recognise him at first,

But I realised that…it's me.

I see him every morning,

He's familiar but I don't recognise him,

A fake smile coming out to play.
